Launched the "YOKOHAMA"
brand of automotive batteries.

for motorcycle use.

Started the production of the now
renowned wet-charged automobile batteries.

Introduced the polyethylene "envelope
type" plate separators for automobile batteries.
1995
Added the "envelope type"
separators into the motorcycle's range of batteries.
Listed on the BMSB (Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad).

The first battery manufacturer
to use the "Metal Analyser" in Malaysia.
1997
The setting up of our environment-friendly
lead reclamation plant in Ipoh, Perak.

Registered for British Pattern
Design (UK).

Awarded "Special Award for
Product Excellence" by the Ministry of nternational
Trade and Industry (MIT) for our "YOKOHAMA"
automotve lead-acid flat top covered batteries.

TKYBI certified ISO 9001:2000.
The implementation of the "Palm Top" system
to our sales force to carry our sales operations
with our dealers located throughout the country.

Awarded the "Selangor Design
Product excellence" for our YOKOHAMA flat top

Relocation of our battery production
plant in Balakong to our newly built high technology
production plant n Semenyih, Selangor.

Awarded "Selangor Innovation
Product Excellence" for our YOKOHAMA Maintenance
Free batteries.
The official opening of our new plant in Semenyih,

Started the operation of "Continuosly
Plate MAking" machine (CONCAST & CONPASTE)
in our factory.
The implementation of 5S in our production plant.
