New High-Technology Manufacturing Facilities

Tai Kwong-Yokohama’s new RM53 million high-technology plant in Semenyih, Selangor Darul Ehsan has significantly increased production of batteries to accommodate the increase of both the local and international market demands.

The 32-acre plant employs 600 highly-trained staff and the latest battery manufacturing technology and machines from the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

All battery components are developed in our own plant to control cost efficiencies. and consistent quality is ensured throughout the production process.

We have stepped up a notch in monitoring its stock by being, the first battery manufacturer in the country to implement computerised bar-coding in 2001. By keeping up with the latest stock monitoring technology, TKYBI Sdn. Bhd. is able to effectively keep track of all its 6,500 dealers' stock position located throughout Malaysia.
